Autzen Stadium Parking Tips

Spectacular Summit

Big Event and Oregon Ducks experiences at Autzen Stadium are second to none.  The tailgates are bumping, the stadium is buzzing and there’s a palpable electricity in the air.  But… parking is always a challenge. The freeways and roads around the stadium are congested and although the Eugene PD does as good a job as possible at keeping traffic moving, it is always at a crawl.

The parking lots onsite are presold and not available for purchase on game day. That is true for all of the lots directly around Autzen Stadium. Parking can cost as much or more than a single event ticket if you desire parking in one of these presold lots next to Autzen.

If you are coming to the game without a pre-paid parking pass you should think about one of the following options:

Pre-sold Parking & Event Packages at Good Times Cafe – Good Times is just over the Ferry Street bridge under a one mile walk to Autzen Stadium. Park your car in a secure lot throughout the event and enjoy an always awesome pre-event atmosphere.  Special packages are available for the Zack Bryan Show. Parking at Good Times is pre-sold and usually sells out prior to event day. Click here for more information.

Park on Franklin Avenue -- At one of the lots advertising “Event Parking” and walk across the Autzen bridge from the University side. This walk is a bit further (about 1.3 miles) and won’t include food and beverage with your parking but it will save you from having to deal with the heavy congestion around the stadium. Prices range from $20 to $35 per car.

Ride Share – Ride Share is a good option but this too has pitfalls. If you plan to ride share to the stadium within two hours of game time, prices will be elevated. The closer to game time you are, the more the ride will cost. Also, given the sticky traffic situation many drivers refuse to go into the Stadium area, so combined with the extra demand an event brings, ride share availability maybe a challenge. That is especially true if you plan to utilize ride shares departing the event. If that is your plan, you must also plan to walk away from Autzen to catch your ride share. Since MLK Blvd is closed going East from Coburg Rd after the game, there is no way for ride share vehicles to get to Autzen to perform pickups onsite.  Walk either to Coburg Road at the 76 Station and call your Uber from there or walk across the bridge to Franklin and do so from there.

Shuttles from Valley River Center – The cost varies from $8 to $10 per shuttle ticket and must be pre-purchased. Going to the Stadium, this option works. It’s returning from where this can become a real drag. An inadequate number of buses to serve the thousands that park at the mall create long lines and wait times for many at events end. Saving the few bucks in parking here usually is paid for in time and hassle.
